Lifestyle practices can reduce risk of developing early age-related macular degeneration or AMD

According to a recent study, modifying lifestyle (healthy eating, physical activity and not smoking) might reduce risk for early AMD as much as 3-fold, helping lower the risk for advanced AMD in a person’s lifetime.*
